The Future Of Greenwood Village

Greenwood Village is an exceptional community — thanks to years of thoughtful leadership, resident involvement, and a deep commitment to excellence. I’m running for City Council not to change that legacy, but to build on it, working alongside our residents, city staff, and fellow council-members to ensure our Village remains a place we’re all proud to call home.

Public Safety & Law Enforcement Support

Our police department has done a remarkable job keeping our neighborhoods safe. I’ll continue that momentum by collaborating closely with GVPD to enhance their resources and by supporting community-driven strategies that address crime while strengthening trust and transparency between law enforcement and residents so that we will never feel unsafe in parks, schools or stores.

Connected Infrastructure & Accessibilty

Greenwood Village has made strong investments in infrastructure, and I’m committed to continuing those efforts. I will contribute my experience in Accessibility to champion smart, resident-informed improvements to our roads, sidewalks, bike lanes, and trails—making it easier and safer to get around while preserving the peaceful character of our neighborhoods.

Protecting Home Rule & Zoning

The Village has a long history of exercising local control responsibly and effectively. I will work to preserve our home rule authority, by supporting the legal process our Village has taken against the state, to ensure that zoning and land-use decisions remain in the hands of the people who know this community best—our residents—through open communication, thoughtful planning, and consistent collaboration.

Youth & Community Engagement

Our children thrive because our village cares. I want to build on the city’s strong community programming by expanding youth volunteer opportunities, leadership and civic initiatives. These efforts can strengthen involvement and create more ways for people of all ages to be heard and give back.

Sustainability & Innovation

Our city has already laid the groundwork for a cleaner, greener future. I will support healthy partnerships, and forward-thinking projects — like adding more EV infrastructure, solar energy utilization, and sustainable public spaces — that serve our environmental goals while generating long-term economic benefits for the Village and its residents.

How I Am Different

What sets me apart is not just a fresh perspective, but a different philosophy of leadership. I believe council-members should serve first, listen before speaking, and unite rather than divide. Too often, local politics is about who can make the biggest scene — I reject that. I promise to be visible to all, while diligently working hands-on behind the scenes.

I will represent all of Greenwood Village: homeowners and renters, businesses and families, long-time residents and newcomers. My opponents often focus on protecting narrow interests with decisions that don’t allow for your input.

I will focus on building community. I welcome tough conversations, value transparency, and commit to treating every resident with respect, no matter their age, background, beliefs, or lifestyle. Every resident will have a voice with me.

What I Stand For

Greenwood Village represents the best of community: safe neighborhoods, thriving businesses, and beautiful open spaces. My goal is to protect these strengths while preparing for challenges that come from our governments.

I stand for inclusivity, ensuring every resident feels they belong in the conversation. I stand for fiscal responsibility, using taxpayer dollars wisely and transparently. I stand for public safety, giving our first responders the tools to keep us safe. I stand for preservation, protecting parks and open spaces while supporting thoughtful development that respects our neighborhoods. I stand for the little guy. The young kid who wants to achieve their dreams, the recent high school graduate, the new small business owner, the new homeowner. Above all, I stand for good governance — approachable, respectful leadership rooted in collaboration and accountability.

My First 6 Months on Council

If elected, I will vow to dedicate my service to learning and laying the groundwork for long-term success. My focus will be on building strong relationships with city staff and department directors so we can move forward as one team. My goals for my first 6 months include:

  • City Management, Clerks and Attorneys: Meet with managers and department directors to understand current priorities and identify where council can best provide support.

  • Public Safety: Ride along with police officers, visit fire and emergency partners, and ensure our first responders have the resources they need to keep our community safe.

  • Community Development: Work with planning staff to balance smart growth and development while preserving the character of our green and clean neighborhoods.

  • Public Works & Infrastructure: Review current road, traffic, and infrastructure projects, listening to resident concerns about safety, maintenance, and long-term planning.

  • Finance & Transparency: Engage with the finance department to fully understand the city’s budget, ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly and efficiently.

  • Parks, Trails & Recreation: Partner with Parks and Recreation staff to preserve our open spaces and improve accessibility to trails and public facilities for all residents.

  • Resident Engagement: Establish digital outreach, regular open office hours and town halls so residents feel they always have a direct line to their council-member.

My commitment is to work hand-in-hand with city staff, directors, elected leaders and residents — not to impose my own agenda, but to support, assist, and learn. I believe that by starting with humility, collaboration, and a willingness to listen hands-on, we can achieve meaningful progress together.
